Medical Lockable Line Valve

The CPX Lockable Line Valve is manufactured in the UK under BS EN 13485 Medical Devices: Quality Management Systems and CE marked with the notified body British Standards Institute under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (CE 2797). They are designed to have a tight shut-off and blow-out-proof stem for protection against pressure surges. CPX Line Valves comprise of a 2-piece full-bore male threaded nickel plated brass ball valve, c/w chrome plated brass ball, blow-out proof stem, stem O-ring, Teflon® ball seals, and flat face copper stub pipe assemblies. The copper stub pipe assemblies are manufactured from CPX Medical Gas Copper Tube, compliant with BS EN 13348, and are factory-soldered to brass flat face seal flanges, chemically cleaned, and degreased. The copper pipe stubs are of sufficient length to enable brazing directly to the MPGS, utilising fluxless brazing to WKO (82) 1. Flat face housing incorporates Nitrile® or Viton® O-ring seals, ensuring 100% gas-tight connections.

Accuracy is fulfilled within 10% to attain maximum efficiency for the patient and environment. Each flow meter is calibrated at 50 psi inlet pressure Materials The Flowmeter shall be manufactured to EN 13220:1999 and ISO 15002:2008 and constructed from a chromium-plated brass body, inner and external tube in crack-resistant polycarbonate and stainless steel ball. Other pieces shall be in brass. Humidifier: Constructed from polycarbonate, sterilisation should be conducted in an autoclave on a 25 min cycle at 121 ºC, 1.3 kPa (max. 40 times). Before sterilisation remove the tube and diffuser and consequently disposed. Quality: Manufactured under BS EN 13485 Medical Devices: Quality Management Systems.
